Rosa Shilongo
Junior Research Fellow
Rosa Shilongo is a junior research fellow at the Power Futures Lab, focusing on Power Markets Reforms, Economic Regulation, Investment, and Energy Auctions. She holds an MPhil in Development Finance from Stellenbosch University, an MSc in Accounting & Finance, and a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Namibia. With a previous role as a Lecturer, Accountant, and Postgraduate Research Coordinator at the University of Namibia in the Research, Innovation & Development office, Rosa is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Development Finance (CIDEF). Her vision is to further explore the evolving power market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks governing these markets, analyse the effectiveness of energy auctions. Through her research, she seeks to provide strategic insights to enhance investments in energy projects in Africa.
