Three-year programme · Funded by GET.transform / GIZ

The Peer Review and Learning Network (PRLN)

The PRLN is a dynamic three-year capacity-building programme masterminded by the Power Futures Lab, designed to transform Africa's energy regulation landscape through collaborative peer review and mutual learning among regulatory executives.

The programme brings together energy regulator CEOs from African countries for joint reviews of each other's energy sectors. Through structured peer assessments, regulators evaluate the governance, substance, and impact of fellow regulatory bodies.

The PRLN convenes regular in-country meetings where delegations of regulatory executives conduct joint sector assessments. Past reviews have been hosted by regulators in Kenya, Tanzania, and other participating nations.
